About us
A M Structures are a well established British company working in the Glass fibre and Carbon fibre composites sector. Our highly versatile workforce have been producing high quality moulded composite components for over 28 years, the team are easy to deal with, amenable and flexible allowing clients to develop and improve designs throughout the early stages of their projects.
In the late 90’s A M Structures were approached to build a large architectural structure, which also formed a skylight for the shopping mall located beneath it, designed by Ron Arad for installation at Canary Wharf. The structure was positioned next to the famous building at 1 Canada Square in London. This project represented the start of the company’s diversion into lightweight architectural structures manufactured from non-metallic composite materials.
A M Structures have completed a wide range of projects for a wide range of designers, clients and end users. A small number of clients are shown below:
A M Structures’ purpose built, fully insulated factory on the Isle of Wight is only 6 years old and sits on a large site providing extensive secure outside storage. The factory consists of workshops and offices, with 15,000 ft² floor space solely for construction of composite structures. A M Structures have the following additional facilities:
- Walk-in freezer for the storage of materials
- External enclosure for vacuum pumps for consolidation of laminates
- Curing/ post curing ovens
- Mixing room
- Kit cutting table
- Trimming area
